Scope and responsibility

Zach Schreiner, operating as Local Launch, is responsible for seller-controlled purchase and support records. This is a draft notice for the intended purchase flow, not a claim that live Checkout or mail delivery is active.

What the purchase flow uses

  • Stripe receives payment details, name, email, billing address and device/security information to process payments, assess tax location and prevent fraud. We intend to use only necessary order, payer-email and payment-status data, not store your full card number or security code.
  • Our private delivery service uses the purchased product/edition, order reference, payment/refund state, first-availability and expiry times, token hashes and download-completion records to give the correct access.
  • Gmail carries transactional link emails, a three-day reminder when appropriate, and support correspondence. Emails contain a private access link; do not forward it.
  • The host and reverse proxy may record IP address, time, route, browser and request/security status. Exact host, log settings and storage locations are UNKNOWN until deployment review.
  • Support uses information you choose to send, limited to what is needed for help, recovery, refunds or privacy requests. Do not send passwords, card details or unnecessary customer information.

Cookies and provider processing

No seller marketing list, optional analytics, Meta Pixel or retargeting is planned. Necessary access/security cookies may be used by the delivery service. Stripe uses cookies and similar technologies for payment/security and other purposes described in its own policy; this is not a cookie-free purchase flow.

The inspected candidate uses an opaque buyer capability cookie with a 40-day browser lifetime. Final cookie lifetimes are UNKNOWN; hosted access remains limited to the original 30-day window. Provider-side retention, processing countries and any independent service-improvement or AI handling are UNKNOWN pending review. No seller-support AI processing is authorized by this draft.

Retention and deletion

Link validity is at most 24 hours, with renewal only within 30 days from first file availability. These are access limits, not automatic deletion dates. Seller retention periods for orders/tax records, token hashes, delivery history, support mail, logs and backups are UNKNOWN pending owner approval and implementation. This notice must be completed before publication.

Applicable rights are preserved; accounting, disputes, legal holds and independent provider duties may require retention. We cannot promise deletion of bank or provider-held records we do not control.
